Add Widget Text Link

First know you need to have “Design Tab” viewable.

1. Click “Design Tab”

2. You may have one or two tabs available to add widgets into.

3. Decide which tab you want it stuck into and decide the location position above or below where you currently have information. So study where it is on the outside of the site – how you normally view your Blogsite.

4. Select the “Text Widget- by click “Add Text Widget Button”

5. Click In the Text Box

6. You can or can not leave the top box empty

7. In the box – enter your HTML code. – explanation of code below.

8. Click the X

9. Click Save

10. Click View your site and there it is.

How to add the HTML Code – This is the general format of the HTML code.

<p><a href=”http://www.techoss.com“>  http://www.TechOSS.com </a> </p>

1. The <p> and </p> are necessary. Put them in the same position above.

2. The <a and </a> are necessary. Put them in the same position above.

3. The href= – always add it in the line in same position

4. The two quotes ” “ put them before and after the link.

5. The link (example above www.techoss.com) is enclosed in quotes followed by a right pointing arrow >

6. Then after the right pointing > (don’t forget to add it in the right place

7. Add in the text that a person will see ( this is the only text a person will see)

8. Close it with the  </a> </p> as mentioned in step 1 and step 2 above

That’s it – add it into the box as stated in Step G Above
